| Keterangan: | Powerful pump was needed for transporting sewage sludge by water.
In addition to criteria such as self-priming, resistant to foreign-bodies, changeable
pump direction and compact design, ease of regulation was the most important
criterion. The pump was to always pump the maximum quantity possible while
observing the pressure limit of 8 bar to minimise downtime. However, as each dock
has an individual pipework system, the delivery rate must be regulated in
accordance with the pressure.
Type VX186-260Q rotary lobe pumps are used here. The speed is regulated via a
frequency converter using a pressure sensor. The linear pump characteristics and
the pulsation-free operation of HiFlo™ rotary lobes make this is easy with
VOGELSANG rotary lobe pumps. Thanks to the variable pump direction, the rotary
lobe pumps can be used to fill and empty, self-prime the sewage sludge automatically
and pump it ashore at a pressure of 8 bar. Foreign bodies in the sewage sludge can
also be pumped due to the large free passage.
Individual pump regulation: No problem with VOGELSANG technology.
